Series 97 Air Clutch For
conversion of full revolution mechanical clutch machines to smoother
& more predictable part revolution air clutch engagement. Unique
capability provided by air clutch allows disengagement of drive
and application of spring set brake at any point in the machine
cycle or stroke; allows interfacing of many die protection and operator
safety devices with machine controls. Air clutches cushion the impact
of tooling on workpieces, extending tool and die life. Tool setup
is faster, easier and safer with hand button "inch" control
that allows positive positioning of press ram and stops movement
of ram at any time the operator's hands are removed from the two
hand controls (consult PROTECH Bulletins 100-400 and 75 for related
controls).
